BioNeutral Group, Inc. – (OTCBB: BONU)

BioNeutral Group, Inc., operating through its subsidiary Bioneutral Laboratories Corporation USA, is a specialty chemical company whose business is to commercialize a novel combinational chemistry-based technology which can neutralize harmful environmental contaminants, toxins and dangerous micro-organisms including bacteria, viruses and spores. The Company’s formulations include natural and common ingredients which are found in traditional food products.

The Company’s proprietary technology has been proven effective in surface, water and airborne applications. Their products include BioNeutralizers, Ygiene&#153, and ChemoNeutralizers, Ogiene&#153.

Ygiene&#153 is a bioneutralizer that fights against microbials. The product was designed to kill various harmful microbes, including virulent gram and bacteria, viruses, yeast, mold, fungi, spores, and certain bioterrorism agents, such as anthrax. The Company believes it has the broadest-based, fastest acting, most effective and safest anti microbial known. This class of products has important applications for consumers, healthcare and the military.

Ogiene&#153 is a chemical neutralizer that eliminates toxic gases and odors. The product was designed to destroy a range of toxic and noxious agents, particulates, and their associated odors. It irreversibly binds chemical contaminants and toxin molecules and renders them harmless. The applications for Ogiene&#153 include industrial pollution, environmental contaminants, and protection against chemical weapons of mass destruction. The Company expects to enter into contracts with certain governmental agencies to utilize their Ogiene&#153 product to eliminate odors and toxic gases in contaminated homes that were affected by Hurricane Katrina.

The Company has several patents pending on proprietary chemical formulations capable of neutralizing noxious chemicals and eliminating harmful microbes. The patent cost incurred by the Company to date is approximately $12M.

The Company has recently retained the consulting services of Chertoff Group, LLC, a Washington DC based consulting firm, led by Michael Chertoff. Mr. Chertoff was a former Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and Assistant Attorney General of the United States, Criminal Division. Two senior members of the Chertoff Group will provide dedicated strategic and operational advisory services to BioNeutral in order to enhance the Company’s strategic alliances, corporate operations, product testing, regulatory approvals, capital strategies and sales to the public and private sectors.

BioNeutral has also recently retained Hogan & Hartson, one of Washington’s oldest and most prestigious law firms, to manage its regulatory affairs as it proceeds through the approval process for its technology. Patrick Raher, a senior partner and the chairman of Hogan & Hartson’s environmental practice, will serve as lead counsel for the BioNeutral Group.

The Company announced last Friday that independent lab test results conducted at Microbiotest Inc. of Sterling, Virginia, demonstrated that Ygiene&#153 antimicrobial diluted 1 to 10 with water can totally eradicated the H1N1 Swine Flu virus in 59 seconds on an unclean, soiled surface. The test was performed to determine the effectiveness of Ygiene&#153 specifically against the 2009 H1N1 (swine flu) virus on surfaces that are not pre-cleaned.

We believe BioNeutral’s products Ygiene&#153 and Ogiene&#153 have great market potential in the area of bio and chemoneutralizer. The Company has also aligned itself with a prominent security and risk-management consulting firm, Chertoff, for business development and one of Washington’s most prestigious law firms, Hogan & Hartson, to manage its regulatory affairs as it proceeds through the approval process for its technology.

With the potential threat of swine flu reaching epidemic level, BioNeutral stands to benefit greatly from its Ygiene&#153 product. The Company already has two promising products and with the proper execution of its business model, we believe this development stage company could be one of the most promising emerging biotech players in the near term.

About BioNeutral Group, Inc.

Headquartered at the New Jersey Institute of Technology/EDC in Newark, New Jersey, BioNeutral Group, Inc., is a chemical technology-based Life Science company that intends to commercialize a combinational chemistry-based technology which can neutralize harmful environmental contaminants, toxins and dangerous micro-organisms including bacteria, viruses, mold, fungi and spores. The formulations, including Ygiene&#153 and Ogiene&#153, which are eco-friendly and include natural and common ingredients which are found in baby products and in every day foods. The Company has combined these widely-used compounds in highly specialized ways to create products that dramatically enhance disinfecting and cleaning results; products include BioNeutralizers and ChemoNeutralizers. BioNeutral’s proprietary platform technology has been proven effective in surface, water and airborne applications.

Kender Energy – KNDR

Kender Solar is a development phase company working on a solar panel with the world’s cheapest kWh output. The Company can provide a clean, green and viable response to the energy needs of today. The Kender Solar solutions can be applied in several fields, ranging from autonomous electricity production to home heating.

Some of the main applications for Kender Solar include residential & office buildings, greenhouses, data centers, and independent energy production.

Using Kender Solar’s system, heating, hot water and electricity costs for a standard home can be cut down close to zero. Similar reduction in energy cost can also be realized with office buildings, swimming pools or air conditioning.

Yesterday the Company executed an agreement with Inversiones Dagosa where it granted an exclusive marketing license to Inversiones Dagosa for a period of 20 years for the solar energy plants in Spain and Mexico to produce clean energy.

The solar energy industry is seeing huge pent-up demand for products as installations are spurred by various incentive programs and the drive for green energy solutions. One interesting sign of heavy activities is the upcoming Solar Power International 2009, America’s largest solar convention, has been sold out as more than 900 exhibitors reserved their space ahead of schedule.

Solar stocks are hot and getting hotter. We believe that within the alternative energy sector, solar energy is emerging as a powerful technology and its market share in this sector is expanding rapidly.

With the technology that yields world’s cheapest kWh output, Kender is well positioned to capture a large market share as installation demand continues to increase worldwide.

About Kender Energy Inc.:

Kender Energy Inc. is a development phase company active in the field of solar energy. Its present prototypes of solar panels are being developed into a full-scale solar energy production system. The particularity of the Kender solar panel system and technology is to allow, via a closed circuit of gas (usually helium), to create a heat exchange with the sunlight and the air from the environment. The exchange generates the spinning of the helium gas in the closed circuit, propelling a turbine, which produces electricity in a 100% clean and renewable process. The system’s main advantages are that it is efficient, cheap in production, and modular. The company is based near Geneva, Switzerland. Its Website is www.kendersolar.com.

GENova Biotherapeutics – GVBP

GENova closed up 31% on record volume yesterday as investors took notice of the company and its development. GENova’s proprietary and most promising anti-cancer candidates include Prostaganin and Tetanolic. Preliminary studies have proven that Protaganin and Tetanolic can target prostate and breast cancer cells, respectively without affecting normal tissue. This could result in their potential for developing into blockbuster drugs.

GENova’s other new technology platforms include an improved method for identification of the cancer stem cells which are precursors of breast cancer. This interesting and innovative technology will facilitate the identification of unique biomarkers on the precursor cells and thereby lead to their specific destruction.

With the combination of experienced management team and effective products, GENova could be well positioned to capture a large cancer therapeutics market share.

About GENova Biotherapeutics Inc.

GENova is positioning itself as the world’s leading bioscience company in the development and commercial licensing of novel therapeutic proteins that disrupt the advance of life-threatening cancers.
GENova Biotherapeutics (GVBP)

The Company initially conducted business as Kinder Travel & Tours, a sole proprietorship. It later incorporated as Kinder Travel, Inc. under the laws of the Province of British Columbia and subsequently under the laws of Nevada. The company later registered its securities with the SEC and began trading on the Bulletin Board on July 3, 2007.

Since inception, Kinder Travel Inc. had been a travel agency offering a full range of travel services including corporate travel, vacations, cruise holidays, and group tours. After continued loss in operations, the Company’s board decided to pursue a different line of business. As a result, the Company entered into an asset purchase agreement with Phoinos Oxford to acquire Phoinos’ medical patents for the treatment of prostate and breast cancers. The Company subsequently changed its name to Genova Biotherapeutics and began engaging in drug development with a focus on identifying, evaluating and acquiring new promising drugs for treatment and prevention of oncological and infectious diseases in human beings.

The Company recently appointed Mr. Aaron Whiteman as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Whiteman, is a graduate of Oxford University and London School of Economics. He will provide GENova with solid business management experience and the vision to marry novel products with new market opportunities. Mr. Whiteman has previously worked with companies such as Pfizer, Amgen, Myriad Genetics, Medarex, and Biogen Idec.

Last week, GENova appointed Dr. John Savin as its Vice President. Dr. Savin was the CEO of Physiomics, a systems biology company that he founded. Physiomics entered collaborations with companies like Bayer and Cyclacel, and developed a sophisticated product to optimize cancer therapeutic development.

Prior to that, Dr. Savin worked for investment bank Gerrard Group as a pharmaceutical and biotechnology investment analyst. In this role, he worked with corporate finance on venture capital, many IPOs, secondary fund raising, restructuring and due diligence. He was also a Senior Consultant working at Board level with Glaxo, Zeneca, the MRC and Cabinet Office and DTi looking at issues such as the commercialization of humanized monoclonals and the strategic impact of the human genome project.

Mr. Whiteman’s and Dr. Savin’s vast relevant experience and relationships with large biotech companies could really help GENova develop new businesses.

According to the World Health Organization (2006), cancer accounts for 13% of all deaths worldwide. The market for effective cancer therapeutics is projected to reach $60.6 billions by 2011.

Although more progress and testing must be made, GENova could be well positioned to capture a large cancer therapeutics market share with its Prostaganin and Tetanolic anti-cancer products. Biotech stocks have been performing very well recently and GENova could greatly benefit from this trend.

About GENova Biotherapeutics Inc.

GENova is positioning itself as the world’s leading bioscience company in the development and commercial licensing of novel therapeutic proteins that disrupt the advance of life-threatening cancers.
*** PRESS RELEASE ***

U.S. Has Pent Up Demand for Eldercare Capable Personal Robots

CONYERS, GA, July 7, 2009 — GeckoSystems Intl. Corp. (Pinksheets: GCKO) announced today that they expect pent up demand for their cost effective, home based eldercare personal robots. This new type of modern eldercare will postpone, if not eliminate, many elderly persons from having to endure the loneliness and loss of independence when living in nursing homes, and other assisted living facilities. Their families can now better manage the difficult decisions regarding independence they allow their now dependent aged parent while minimizing the concern and risk the adult care giving child is willing to assume to enable an acceptable level of independence for their now dependent parent. GeckoSystems is a dynamic leader in the emerging Mobile Service Robot industry revolutionizing their development and usage with “Mobile Robot Solutions for Safety, Security and Service™.”

“For the last several years, the US eldercare crisis is commonly portrayed as ‘not happening’ until the baby boomers reach the age of great reliance on their children and younger family members. The truth of the matter, since the US is the only country in the top ten of the world’s industrialized nations without national healthcare, is that we really don’t have solid statistics for our true ‘bottom line’ annual US eldercare costs. Many middle class baby boomers are presently suffering significant financial, time and emotional pressures attempting to care for their surviving WWII and Korean War era parents,” observed Martin Spencer, President/CEO, GeckoSystems.

At the time of the company’s founding, extensive primary market research was performed to determine the demographic profiles and the market segments appropriate to identify the probable early adopters of eldercare capable personal robots. Not surprisingly the scientific statistical analyses revealed that elderly over 65 living alone in metropolitan areas with broadband Internet available and sufficient household incomes to support were identified as those most likely to adopt initially. Using U.S. Census Bureau data from the 2000 census the pent-up demand, to the degree possible for metro areas only, is -to those not privy to this type of statistical analysis- nearly unbelievable. Due to the high cost of assisted living, nursing homes, etc. the payback for a CareBot™ is expected to be only six to eight months while keeping elderly care receivers independent, in their own long time homes, and living longer due to the comfort of more frequent attention from their loved ones.

“We project the available market size in dollars for cost effective, utilitarian, multitasking eldercare personal robots in 2010 to be $74.0B, in 2011 to be $77B, in 2012 to be $80B, in 2013 to be $83.3B, and in 2014 to be $86.6B. With market penetrations of 0.03% in 2010, 0.06% in 2011, 0.22% in 2012, 0.53% in 2013, and 0.81% in 2014, we will anticipate CareBot sales, from this consumer market segment, only, of $22.0M, $44.0M, $176M, $440.2M, and $704.3M, respectively. We expect these sales despite –and perhaps because of– the present recession due to pent up demand for significant cost reduction in eldercare expenses,” concluded Spencer.

The foregoing forecasts do not include sales in non-metropolitan areas; elderly couples over 65 (only elderly living alone are in these forecasts); those chronically ill –regardless of age– or elderly living with their adult children.

Some believe that the technology is approved and paid for through options such as the Assistive Technology Act of 1998, which broadens the definition, use, and funding of technology at home. Other sources include long-term care insurance, Medicare and Medicaid, Medicaid waivers, and (potentially) stimulus funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, under the provisions for health information technology and electronic medical records for acute care.

About GeckoSystems International Corporation:

Since 1997, GeckoSystems has developed a comprehensive, coherent, and sufficient suite of hardware and software inventions to enable a new type of home appliance (a personal robot) the CareBot, to be created for the mass consumer marketplace. The suite of primary inventions includes: GeckoNav, GeckoChat and GeckoTrak.

The primary market for this product is the family for use in eldercare, care for the chronically ill, and childcare. The primary distribution channel for this new home appliance is the thousands of independent personal computer retailers in the U.S. The manufacturing infrastructure for this new product category of mobile service robots is essentially the same as the personal computer industry. Several outside contract manufacturers have been identified and qualified their ability to produce up to 1,000 CareBots per month within four to six months.

The Company is market driven. At the time of founding, nearly 12 years ago, the Company did extensive primary market research to determine the demographic profile of the early adopters of the then proposed product line. Subsequent to, and based on that original market research, they have assembled numerous focus groups to evaluate the fit of the CareBot personal robot into the participant’s lives and their expected usage. The Company has also frequently employed the Delphi market research methodology by contacting senior executives, practitioners, and researchers knowledgeable in the area of elder care. Using this factual basis of internally performed primary and secondary market research, and third party research is the factual basis for the Company’s sales forecasts.

The Company’s “mobile robot solutions for safety, security and service(tm)” are appropriate not only for the consumer, but also professional healthcare, commercial security and defense markets. Professional healthcare require cost effective, timely errand running, portable telemedicine, etc. Homeland Security requires cost effective mobile robots to patrol and monitor public venues for weapons and WMD detection. Military users desire the elimination of the “man in the loop” to enable unmanned ground and air vehicles to not require constant human control and/or intervention.

The Company’s business model is very much like that of an automobile manufacturer. Due to the final assembly, test, and shipping being done based on geographic and logistic realities; strategic business-to-business relationships can range from private labeling to joint manufacturing and distribution to licensing only. Several dozen patent opportunities exist for the Company due to the many innovative and cost effective breakthroughs embodied not only in GeckoNav, GeckoChat, and GeckoTrak, but also in additional, secondary systems that include: GeckoOrient™, GeckoMotorController™, the GeckoTactileShroud™, the CompoundedSensorArray™, and the GeckoSPIO™.

The present senior management at GeckoSystems has over thirty-five years experience in consumer electronics sales and marketing and product development. Senior managers have been identified for the areas of manufacturing, marketing, sales, and finance.

While GeckoSystems has been in the Development Stage, the Company has accumulated R&D expenses to date in excess of six million dollars ($6,000,000). In contrast, the Japanese government has spent one hundred million dollars ($100,000,000) in grants (to Sanyo, Toshiba, Hitachi, Fujitsu, NEC, etc.) over the same time period to develop personal robots for their own eldercare crisis, yet no viable solutions have been developed by them.

By the end of this year, the Company plans to complete productization of its CareBot offering with the introduction of its fourth generation personal robot, the CareBot 4.0 MSR. The Company expects to be the first personal robot developer and manufacturer in the world to begin in home eldercare evaluation trials.

What Does a CareBot Do for the Care Giver?

The short answer is that it decreases the difficulty and stress for the caregiver that needs to watch over Grandma, Mom, or other family members most, if not much, of the time day in and day out due to concerns about their well being, safety, and security.

But, first let’s look at some other labor saving, automatic home appliances most of us use routinely. For example, needing to do two or more necessary chores and/or activities at the same time, like laundering clothes and preparing supper.

The automatic washing machine needs no human intervention after the dirty clothes are placed in the washer, the laundry powder poured in, and the desired wash cycle set. Then, this labor saving appliance runs automatically until the washed clothes are ready to be placed in another labor saving home appliance, the automatic clothes dryer. While the clothes are being washed and/or dried, the caregiver prepares supper using several time saving home appliances like the microwave oven, “crock” pot, blender, and conventional stove, with possible convection oven capabilities.

After supper, the dirty pots, pans, and dishes are placed in the automatic dishwasher to be washed and dried while the family retires to the den to watch TV, and/or the kids to do homework. Later, perhaps after the kids have gone to bed, the caregiver may then have the time to fold, sort, and put up the now freshly laundered clothes.

So what does a CareBot do for the caregiver? It is a new type of labor saving, time management automatic home appliance.

For example, the caregiver frequently feels time stress when they need to go shopping for 2 or 3 hours, and are uncomfortable when they have to be away for more than an hour or so. Time stress is much worse for the caregiver with a frail elderly parent that must be reminded to take medications at certain times of the day. How can the caregiver be away for 3-4 hours when Grandma must take her prescribed medication every 2 or 3 hours? If the caregiver is trapped in traffic for an hour or two beyond the 2 or 3 they expected to be gone, this “time stress” can be very difficult for the caregiver to moderate.

Not infrequently, the primary caregiver has a 24 hour, 7 days a week responsibility. After weeks and weeks of this sometimes tedious, if not onerous routine, how does the caregiver get a “day off?” To bring in an outsider is expensive (easily $75-125 per day for just 8 hours) and there is the concern that medication will be missed or the care receiver have an accident requiring immediate assistance by the caregiver, or someone they must designate. And the care receiver may be very resistant to a “stranger” coming in to her home and “running things.”

So what is it worth for a care receiver to have an automatic system to help take care of Grandma? Just 3 or 4 days a month “off” on a daylong shopping trip, a visit with friends, or just take in a movie would cost $225-500 per month. And that scenario assumes that Grandma is willing to be taken care of by a “stranger” during those needed and appropriate days off.

So perhaps, an automatic caregiver, a CareBot, might be pretty handy, and potentially very cost effective from the primary caregiver’s perspective.

What Does a CareBot Do for the Care Receiver?

It’s a new kind of companion that always stays close to them enabling family and friends to care for them from afar. It tells them jokes, retells family anecdotes, reminds them to take medication, reminds them that family is coming over soon (or not at all), recites Bible verses, plays favorite songs and/or other music. It alerts them when unexpected visitors, or intruders are present. It notifies designated caregivers when a potentially harmful event has occurred, such as a fall, fire in the home, or simply been not found by the CareBot for too long. It responds to calls for help and notifies those that the caregiver determined should be immediately notified when any predetermined adverse event occurs.

The family can customize the personality of the CareBot. The voice’s cadence can be fast or slow. The intonation can be breathy, or abrupt. The voice’s volume can range from very loud to very soft. The response phrases from the CareBot for recognized words and phrases can be colloquial and/or unique to the family’s own heritage. The personality can range from brassy to timid depending on how the caregiver, and others appropriate, chooses it to be.

Generally, the care receiver is pleased at the prospect of family being able to drop in for a “virtual visit” using the onboard webcam and video monitor for at home “video conferencing.” The care receiver may feel much more needed and appreciated when their far flung family and friends can “look in” on them any where in the world where they can get broadband internet access and simply chat for a bit.

Why is Grandma really interested in a CareBot? She wants to stay in her home, or her family’s home, as long as she possibly can. What’s that worth? Priceless. Or, an average nursing home is $5,000 per month for an environment that is too often the beginning of a spiral downward in the care receiver’s health. That’s probably $2-3K more per month for them to be placed where they really don’t want to be. Financial payback on a CareBot? Less than a year- Emotional payback for the family to have this new automatic care giver? Nearly instantaneous-

Thursday July 2, 2009

GeckoSystems Intl. Corp. (Pinksheets:GCKO – News) announced today that a major Japanese mobile service robot developer has expressed interest in licensing GeckoSystems’ “Mobile Robot Solutions for Safety, Security, and Service”™ for manufacturing and distribution in Japan.

Martin Spencer, President/CEO of GeckoSystems stated: “As all of us here at GeckoSystems are excited about this development, due to the nature of the upcoming discussions I feel it is in the best interest of all parties involved to withhold the name of the Japanese company at this time. The upcoming meeting and the potential outcome(s) of it is something that has been in the works for several years and is now coming to what looks to be an extraordinarily profitable culmination. I believe their interest in us is due to not only our flagship product, the automatic self navigation software, GeckoNav™, but also the reality that we have a complete multitasking personal robot, the CareBot™, with verbal interaction capabilities, GeckoChat™, and the ability to routinely follow a designated family member with GeckoTrak™.”

The Japanese have their own eldercare crisis because of the size of their WWII widow population. Due to their understanding of the high costs of sufficient and appropriate eldercare, the Japanese government has spent one hundred million dollars ($100,000,000) in grants (to Sanyo, Toshiba, Hitachi, Fujitsu, NEC, etc.) over the last eight to ten years to develop personal robots for their own eldercare crisis, yet no viable solutions have been developed by them.

“During our upcoming discussions we will be making strategic decisions as to what they will be licensing and/or purchasing from us and what we will be purchasing from them and/or their qualified suppliers. We expect the synergies in our cooperation to result in distribution into the Japanese market and significant cost reductions in the systems and subsystems we will be importing from Japan. As one would expect, a more competitive cost structure will enable a better ROI for our stockholders,” concluded Martin Spencer.

The cost saving benefits of GeckoSystems’ suite of mobile robot technologies will generate multiple revenue streams for GeckoSystems in the form of licensing, royalties, training, and sales of various hardware systems and subsystems.

The GeckoSystems’ business model is very much like that of an automobile manufacturer. Due to the final assembly, test, and shipping being done based on geographic and logistical realities, each business relationship can range from private labeling to joint manufacturing and/or distribution to licensing only.

The Company’s “mobile robot solutions for safety, security and service™” are appropriate not only for the consumer, but also professional healthcare, commercial security and defense markets.
