FUEL…aka….SMF Energy Corporation, a Delaware corporation, formerly Streicher Mobile Fueling, Inc. formed in 1996, and its subsidiaries (“SMF”) provides petroleum product distribution services, transportation logi stics and emergency response services to the trucking, construction, utility, energy, chemical, and government services industries.
As we touched upon in our previous alert most financial analysts concur that corporate insiders might sell their shares for any num ber of reasons, but they buy them for only one: they think the price will rise. Corporate Insiders are the officers who run the company, the directors who oversee the officers, and 10% beneficial owners of the stock who are presumed to be more than ordinarily well-apprised of the company’s business and future prospects.
These individuals know virtually everything that can be known about the company they run. They know the pace of sales day to day. They know the new products in development. They know whether the company is a takeover candidate or is already getting unsolicited offers. In short, they know everything that can be known about their company’s business prospects, employees, customers, suppliers, and competitors.
One of the strategies we employ with the market is to watch insider transactions. When company management buys stock in their own company they have to file within 2 days a form called Form 4 which states how much they bought or how they acquired the stock.
Over the last few months corporate insiders have either acquired directly or indirectly significant amount of shares on FUEL. This leads us to believe that FUEL is poised to rally in the very near future!!
