StockStars.net – EREI Benefiting the Blind, Veterans, and Shareholders
Aug 11th, 2009 by beststockreport
EREI has established an international marketing and distribution system for food and beverage products.
EREI distributes food, beverage, and vending machines to U.S. Government sponsored vending programs.
EREI negotiates contracts with food, beverage, and vending machines providers to supply these programs.
EREI acquired several organizations to qualify for participation in government sponsored vending programs.
In its formation, EREI acquired Eagle View LLC, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB), as a base from which to coordinate governmental programs.
A federal law, the Randolph-Sheppard Act mandates a priority to blind persons to operate vending facilities on Federal property.
In July 2008, EREI acquired the National Blind Enterprises Co-op, which entitles EREI to provide blind merchants and vendors with food and vending services, including cafeteria and vending supplies throughout the United States.
In November 2008, EREI acquired the National Blind Brokers Co-op, which entitles EREI to achieve national pricing in lieu of regional or local pricing for all of its merchants and vendors.
In December 2008, EREI acquired Worldwide Food Services Inc., a multi-dimensional food and commodity broker dealing with both private industry and the Armed Forces.
In March 2009, EREI acquired Mini Dollar Stores Inc., specializing in offering 200 fast-moving items to supply the National Blind Enterprises Co-op and Veterans hospital facilities and gift shops.
These acquisitions allow EREI to service food and beverage programs in post offices, courthouses, penitentiaries, and VA hospital facilities.
The acquisitions have also qualified EREI for subsidized rent and equipment in the vending and cafeteria businesses.
EREI has obtained the rights to use the Veteran’s Yellow Ribbon with the SUPPORT OUR TROOPS inscription.
EREI will market its Veterans-labeled products through the Veteran Canteen Service, which operates cafeterias and retail stores in VA hospitals, as well as PXs and commissaries on military bases.
Additionally, EREI will market the Veteran’s products through its National Blind Enterprises Co-op cafeterias and vending machines, as well as private-sector supermarkets and convenience stores throughout the United States.
EREI’s goal is to generate revenues from these multi-billion dollar programs, to train and hire veterans and blind persons, and to support their organizations and families through rebates, sponsorships and profits from their own businesses.
