Earthworks Entmt ZForce to Be Seen at Comic Con, the World’s Biggest Comic Book Pop Culture SciFi Convention
Earthworks Entertainment Inc.’ ZForce will be seen at the Comic-Con Convention, held in San Diego July 23rd through 26th.
Steven Humphries, Earthworks Entertainment Inc.’s CEO, in making the announcement said, “According to USA Today the Comic-Con Convention hit the 125,000 visitor mark in its four day run in 2007. This year’s crowd is expected to exceed that.” It is the largest event of its kind in the world.
As part of its on-going pre-launch publicity campaign, Z~Force will be featured on the collectable Comic-Con Special Issue back cover of Animation Magazine which is read by the leading entertainment and licensing industry executive decision makers and buyers.
Peter Keefe, Z~Force creator and director of its sales & marketing campaign along with the Animation Development Company, stated, “Hollywood Studios, major TV Networks and licensors ranging from the Publishing & Video Game Industries to the Toy Companies all recognize Comic-Con as a very major opportunity to exhibit and discover new entertainment properties in a truly ‘viral’ marketing environment. Earthworks Entertainment, Inc. has announced its plans to launch Z-Force Zodiac Force – an exciting new action-adventure animated TV series aimed at both the adult and children’s market. The series stars the 12 heroic characters of the Oriental Zodiac. Z-Force is a compelling cartoon animation series that blends drama, life lessons and humor with a highly imaginative, fresh new world of exciting adventure. Four segments have already been produced at a cost of $2.0 million. Completion of the other 9 segments is scheduled for June 2009 with a launch on network TV soon after.

Earthworks Entertainment, Inc. was incorporated under the Laws of Delaware on December 3, 1986. Since 1986, the Company has gone through numerous name and management changes.

Steven Humphries , Chairman, CEO and President
Mr. Humphries is a well respected entrepreneur, marketing and broadcasting executive. Humphries is a 30-year broadcast professional and is considered a pioneer in Spanish Radio/TV with extensive executive corporate management, general management and sales management in running both Spanish and General Market broadcast groups. He served as President of Heritage Broadcast Group, Executive Vice President/COO of TK Communications (owners of top radio stations in Miami, Orlando, San Antonio and Dallas.) It was with TK that Humphries launched the very first Spanish Radio station to go to a number one position in the overall general market at KXTN-FM in San Antonio. He replicated his success in Los Angeles and Dallas with Heftel Broadcasting (now Univision Radio.) He also served as Western Region VP of SBS (Spanish Broadcasting System) where he re-launched KLAX-FM in Los Angeles and launched the highly successful WLEY in Chicago. While with SBS he assisted in the raise of $280M, prior to the successful IPO.Humphries was a partner and co-founder of MaMusica TeVe, the first Spanish music television network in the USA and operator of 13 television stations in key Hispanic markets. The Company was sold to Viacom in 2003. In 2004 he formed Humphries Marketing Group (HMG), a full-service automotive advertising agency based in Dallas. While at HMG he conducted numerous marketing seminars for the NADA (National Automotive Dealers Association) 20 Groups throughout the USA and Candada.
Buckeye Epstein, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Epstein has over 30 years of a diverse background in sports, marketing and financial management. During Epstein’s tenure in this industry, he has produced, organized, managed and raised millions of dollars in grassroots sports events. He founder of Art of War who produced PPV Mixed Martial Arts Fights Promotion and also started the Professional Arena Rugby League. Mr. Epstein attended Drake University on a wrestling scholarship where he majored in Business Administration and Marketing. Mr. Epstein also served as a broker at the Chicago Board of Trade in addition to owning his own NASD stock and commodities brokerage firm.
Raj Sharma, Chief Information Officer
Mr. Sharma provides senior leadership for the strategic use of information technology (IT) resources in support of the mission and goals of Earthworks. . He works closely with leaders in formulating options, facilitating decision-making processes, determining projects, and managing and setting IT priorities for the organization. He joined DealerAdvance, Inc. (DLAD.PK) in 2006 as CIO. Under his guidance DLAV migrated from legacy environment to Web based SAAS. Furthermore he developed the handheld version of WebDA.
Chris Humphries, Vice President of Marketing
Mr. Humphries is responsible for the marketing and promotion of the various entities of Earthworks Entertainment. Humphries has purchased more than $50,000,000 in media time while the Media Director of automotive ad agency Humphries Marketing Group. He also developed various marketing campaigns and projects for new car dealers throughout the United States. Humphries serves on the board of two other public companies, DealerAdvance (DLAD) and Systems Evolutions, Inc. (SEVO).

Mikel Hughes is the Vice President of Creative Services and Production. Mr. Hughes has been in the creative business for nearly 15 years, spanning a broad spectrum of experience.
